			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>I&#8217;m 5&quot;2 and i weigh approximately 135 pounds which isn&#8217;t obese but it is about 20 pounds heavier than I would like to be. What are some ways of working out without having to pay for a gym membership? The only stuff I have to work out with is a elliptical machine and a couple of ten pound weights. I&#8217;d also information about what to eat and what not to eat!<br />
<br />What about walking or jogging? There&#8217;s also:<br />
pushups<br />
situps<br />
lunges<br />
walking up &amp; down stairs</p>
<p>You can also learn a lot of these types of exercises from magazines, YouTube, newspaper, tv &amp; the internet. There are gazillions of free exercises out there.</p>

<br />Its never too soon to start taking care of yourself, and thanks for asking, for the exercise recommendations the best thin I can tell you is that you need to incorporate cardio, strength and stretching into a workout plan that you will actually follow.  To burn fat you should be doing at least 20 mins of cardio, anything less and you wont be burning much fat.  I like to do 30 minutes of cardio either running or biking, and then stretches that target all the major muscle groups. try this at least 4 days a week, an hour a day is not too much to ask for your health.  Strength training is also good because muscle mass burns energy while fat mass does not, basically if you build up muscle mass you will burn more calories even when you arent exercising.</p>
